Works on Paper: In Conversation with Artist and Curator

The Twenty Two, London - 22 November 2025

In conjunction with Works on Paper, Lux Feminae presented an intimate conversation at The Twenty Two, London, bringing together exhibiting artist Serena Nickson and Lux Feminae Co-Founder and Curator Olivia Zabludowicz, led by Jasper Greig, Co-Founder of Sympact. The discussion explored the relationship between artistic and curatorial practice and the ways in which the two evolve together throughout the lifecycle of an exhibition. Taking Nickson’s practice as a point of departure, the conversation considered the role of drawing within painting and traced the development of an artwork from initial concept and creation through to its presentation and curation. The conversation formed part of Lux Feminae’s Works on Paper programme, extending the exhibition beyond the works themselves through dialogue between artist, curator and cultural practitioner.
